Sheryl Underwood is a American comedian, host of a TV show and actor most well-known for her role as host of the popular daytime talk show The Talk. Born in Arkansas She was raised within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by an extremely difficult household. She spent most of her young life caring for her sister Frankie suffering from the disease of polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl experienced many issues with her mom. Sheryl claims that at some instance, she was stabbed by her mother her father because she was getting close to the father. Sheryl joined the military after her graduation from college. Her love for comedy was greater. In 1989 she was the first woman to reach the top of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She started her TV career in 1992, when she made a cameo appearance as a frequent actor in the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she hosted The show Oh Drama! Since 2011, she's been hosting as a co-host of The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. She's been in shows like Bulworth Nikki Beauty Shop and others.
