Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the United States and is a writer from Greece, a syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She is a co-founder of The Huffington Post the founder and CEO of Thrive Global and the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington is an independent liberal news site and a television host author, author and philanthropist. Following her move into England from Greece when she was 16, she received a MA in Economics at Cambridge University. When she was 21, she became the president of the renowned debate society The Cambridge Union' and was the first foreign born student who was elected to this position. After the graduation ceremony, she was a prominent conservative syndicated journalist. After a few years later she created The Huffington Post which featured critical commentary on the current politics. It was her celebrity that led to the recruitment of a number of well-known contributors for posting their opinions on the news as well as politics and culture. Arianna became famous in 2003 as she stood for California's recall election, replacing then Governor Davis. Also, she was the head of the Detroit energy-efficient vehicle project. In 2009 she was recognized by Forbes as the most influential women in media gaining 12th place on the list and in the same year the Guardian included her in the top 100 media list. In the year 2011, AOL Inc. purchased The Huffington Post and made her the head of the media unit, which comprised of many existing AOL products, such as Engadget AOL music Style list and Patch Media. Her parents were Elli as well as Konstantinos Stasinopoulos, who was a consultant in management as well as a journalist. Though she shared a close relationship with both of her parents but it was their connection that shaped her. Through her early years, she exhibited abilities to lead, and for this her name is still well-known.
